As a school district, we are committed to providing a high-quality education to all our students. We understand that being a parent can be challenging, and finding the right information can sometimes be difficult. That's why we have compiled a list of resources on our website that we think will be particularly helpful for parents.
Also; as a public school district, we are required by law to provide certain information to our community. This includes information about our schools, programs, and policies, as well as details about our budget and finances. We have compiled this information on our website to make it easy for parents and members of the community to access. You can find links to our district policies, budgets, and other important documents on our website. We are committed to transparency and to providing the information that the public has a right to know. This page has an explanation of all those resources and where they can be found for Show Low Unified School District (SLUSD hereafter). The column to the right is a basic list of the links that are found below.
Title Nine Information: SLUSD is a title nine district. As such there is specific information that is posted on this site. A good place to start is on this page. This page includes information on the Title Nine Coordinator, Title IX Grievance Process, and Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy
Federal Programs: SLUSD offers and participate in several federal programs. The federal programs page is the starting point to find all the publicly posted information on those programs.
Budget and Financing: SLUSD post information about the board approved budget each year. Click on this link to find those postings.
Our Documents Section: Under the menu drop down list is a link to the documents section. This is a repository for all the documents shared on this site past and present.
Parent Rights: Parents have rights granted by the state for every parent that has a child enrolled in the state. Please click this link to download the Parents Right to know letter.
School Services: As a school district, we offer a wide range of services to support the academic and personal growth of our students. These services are detailed on our department pages. Click this link for a list of departments.
Board Policies: We use a separate program for posting board policies and board agenda's. Please see the SLUSD board page and look for the big green button at the bottom to get to those resources.
Resource Searching: We are required by law to allow parents to search through SLUSD library resources. Our entire library resources are published online and searchable through this 3rd part program. Just select the school you would like to search for and you can search by author or title.
